Ashu joined a 6-month PhD placement at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in their PAT group, Upper Merlon, PA. He will be working on evaluating PAT interfaces for online powder blend monitoring and implementing advanced process control strategy for the continuous wet granulation line.

Prof. Ramachandran is named Chancellor’s Scholar. The Chancellor’s Scholar initiative recognizes truly outstanding and highly promising scholars at Rutgers University–New Brunswick who are currently at the associate professor level. As a Chancellor’s Scholar, he will receive $5,000 annually for innovative research initiatives and/or program development for up to five years.
